Holiday Bags Were a Hit!

One thing that’s too often underestimated in our unhoused community is how much holidays matter. The personal touch matters. We always bring a cake for birthdays, and we put effort into Christmas.
This year, our holiday bags were the best yet!
Each one was filled with a favorite $10 Taco Bell gift card, a transistor radio with batteries, $10 cash, holiday Oreos, a giant M&M-filled candy cane, chocolate truffles, candy canes, and gummy bears. Small joys, real dignity.
